Queenstown, New Zealand - Nevis Playground

Yes, I just spent about $300 to free fall 134meters in 8 seconds and also, nearly swing into the side of a mountain. And no, I do not regret a thing. When I was standing on the ledge looking down right before I jumped the adrenaline pumping through me felt like a drug. I would pay $300 all over again to feel that rush again for sure.

(Disclaimer: no one shit their pants in the making of this photo) ^
Here are some things I wish I knew before hand though:
1) That Everyone That Works There Would be SO HOT -
This has to do with some psychology affect of adrenaline and attractiveness (you should look up the theory it is actually quite interesting) If I knew this I so would have jumped naked - which is allowed btw - but yes, my friends and I did end up meeting up with some workers later that evening for drinks.
2) That This is An All Day Event -
Even if you don't want to do the Nevis Swing (because you are a broke college kid) somehow they will convince you to do it and your morning activity will then be done just in time for an early dinner.
3) That the Nevis Swing Would be More Fun -
I say this only because you don't know when the drop is coming. We were dangling over the edge on a swing and the guy was casually talking to us THEN IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS SENTENCE HE WAS LIKE SEE YA! I literally questioned if I was going to die on the way down. Also, I did it with someone who was afraid of heights so it was like 10x more entertaining than bungy jumping alone (Thanks Rocky)! Though I do recommend doing both.
4) The People You Go With Will Make or Break Your Experience-
Well I knew this already and this goes with any traveling honestly. But the group of girls I went with definitely made my whole day a better experience.
